Thread: helly hansen

any input on which jackets from this company are worth looking into? i won something from them earlier this season but it was the wrong size, so i returned it. they're now out of stock in the correct size...

they seem to have a few different product lines, and i'm unsure which might be what i'm looking for- which would be not too bulky, durable and functionable. their website isn't the best around. the model i sent back to them was the "revert" jacket which i thought was nice.

not much has been mentioned about this manufacturer around here, so i thought i'd go fishin' for some help. there aren't any hh outlets/stores near me so i can't really "try before i buy" so to speak.

also, if anyone has read this far into the post without passing out from boredom i'd like to state that i have a pair of "moto" gloves from scott (i think that's the brand) which are also much to small but not really worth trying to exchange. they were part of the prize package i won with the jacket. anybody want 'em? they're mostly black and yellow. perhaps for an interesting exchange, or the cost of throwing them in an envelope and sending them to a maggot/minion in need?

i dig HH stuff. i dont know any of their lines, but ive had nothing but good luck with their product.
id be interested in those gloves too...what size/how heavy are they??

the gloves are a medium, i believe. i bought an xl in the kevglove.

they've been in the trunk of my car for a few months. not very heavy, probably good for spring skiing. i might have the brand wrong as well. i'll check tonight - hopefully my trunk isn't frozen shut.

the top model HH is bomber..
