I still remember looking on thinking...don't do it...don't do it. Next thing I Kush and Ty send it. Still gets my heart going...I was just having a "Winter of 2006 is the year people went big" discussion with a coworker this morning. That was a crazy few months...the progression in size was scary...and quick.

bwa! ^ I knew you had shot a vid of Big Jim's but never saw it before. That's funny how many people gathered up at the top. And holy hell that's one hell of a hot tub!!!

The pictures of Hospital Air are still the sickest I've seen on TGR in all my lurking. Before seeing them I didn't even know shit like this was possible. Here's hoping for deep snow this year!
Summer time bump.

good bump
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks for the bump. I missed this somehow the first time around. I can honestly say I will never go that big. At least not intentionally. This deserves Hall of fame status.

Even the thrunting a couple pages back was good.
Had the potential for one hell of a ski-off.

Splat mentioned the progression since the first Summit. How true.
I made my kid (12yo) sit through Blizzard over the weekend (the day after seeing Light the Wick).
About halfway through, between convulsions caused by the attire of 1988, she said "when are they going to go big?"
ummm, that WAS big back then......
How times have changed.

Sick stuff fellas, huge drop. Glad everyone skied away and not off to the Hospital.
Had first trip to Kirkwood over a week in January last season. When they finally opened the back saddle it was sick. Great resort with good people.
I don't care what you call it, just call dropping.........I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues
