Another BD Question
I'm trying to expand the boots sole length of 6:14s (on 03/04 BD's with riser plate) from ~310 to 335mm. I've removed the orange AFD plate and slid the toe and heel piece apart to the 330mm setting, then I re-attaching the AFD plate. It fits my boot now, however the heel piece hangs out over the back of its rail by about 3 cm. I'd like to remount the binding a little wider, on the riser plate, to eliminate this overhang.
My question is do I need a jig, or other special equipment, to remount the binding to the riser plate? Does the riser plate have pre-set holes for a wider mounting?
Thanks & JONG away

Never took mine apart, but I just saw a photo of the standard plate on ebay. Looks like easy pre-set holes for 3 different toe positions, and 3 different heel positions.
