Cheap place to mount Naxos in Boston?
I am looking for a cheap, but reliable place to mount some Naxos on a pair of Head Monsters. Does anybody have some recommendations?
Yes, I did search and I just don't have the tools to do it myself - I certainly would otherwise ...
Thanks.Last edited by Franz Klammer; 03-09-2006 at 11:42 PM.

If you come further south, i would help you do it.
There have to be Boston mags that have the skillz and toolz.
All you need is a paper template, drill, drill bit, pozi screwdriver, and glue."Fakers are Maggots" - T. Hall, 2011

Franz, you might want to try REI near Fenway. They also sell naxo, if I recall, and can prolly do it for you. What monsters are you mounting these to?Last edited by MassLiberal; 03-10-2006 at 01:37 PM.

I was just in REI in Boston looking for a BD Tip/Tail kit and the ski tech told me that the REI Framingham handles most of the AT stuff for the area. Not sure about their mounting services, but it's worth a phone call.
And for the record, the guy who runs the shop at Bob Smith's is not a douche.

well, he fucked up one of my tele mounts pretty badly.
Therefore, a douche in my mind.

That's right...I completely forgot that he was the one who made the decision to sell to Joe Jones. Thanks for clearing it up. Wow...the femine hygiene products are flowing freely.

Anyways, as I mentioned...the tech at REI boston mentioned the Framingham store as a good AT supply/source. In addition, I know that EMS on Comm Ave. (across from said "douchebag") sells Naxos & Freerides, as well as mounts tele stuff. So they might be yet another option.

Upon further review of the situation, I have discovered that the person I dealt with at Bob Smith's was one of the managers of the store, and not the shop (he had made it seem like it was his domain, when, in fact, it was not), that being the case, the douchbag in question is not the director of the shop, but the manager (owner? friend did not know) of the store.
Though the shop did mount my Janaks with ball of foot a little forward of center (which is way forward for a pow ski), I apologize for calling the wrong person douchebag.
