    race ski question

    I may spell this wrong, what is a kwazy race ski?

    did you mean quasi-race ski? I would take that as 'like' a race ski, i.e. similar construction or sidecut etc. without actually being a race ski like the volkl 6star or something.

    or...

    It could just be crazy(kwasi)- were you in Northern ME when you heard it?

    A quasi-race ski is something like a non-FIS legal ski that is more carve and speed-oriented than most other skis. An Atomic DH ski is not a quasi race ski, whereas an Atomic GS:11 with the round beta lobes is (the "real" ones have squarish beta lobes and less sidecut).

    Thanks Cold Smoke and Zalg8 for the informitive information. As for the rest of you jokers, no, I am not from another country nor am I high (at this time).
    I'm from Sparks, NV. My local Mt is Mt. Rose as well as the Tahoe Meadows BC. Reason I said I could hang with that, is because i can be a smart a$$ as well from time to time.
