Looks like a hurrican hit LCC
All lifts closed.
Grom said gusts between 80 and 100 at top of Germ. Which prolly means like 120 on top of Baldy.
Tree limbs, blowing snow, rocks, trees, leaves and all other imaginable crap lying on the road this afternoon on the drive down.
Still crazy beautiful to see the raw power of nature and all the lines that have filled in in the Canyon from top to bottom.
Tomorrow will go off; see you suckas at 8:30!!"... she'll never need a doctor; 'cause I check her out all day"

The Bird was good today. We found alot of powder and wind-buffed goods in the usual places...

I've tweaked my recovering knee twice in the last 4 weeks--to the point of actually feeling a little instability in addition to the pain.
I heard and felt something rip right under the kneecap in the heavy snow at Powder Mtn last week.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to find out what I did until my 5 1/2 month follow-up visit next week. The only encouraging thing is that it's definitely not as unstable as when I ripped it in half in May.
I'm having a blast in this recent powder but I'm pretty concerned about what might have happened to my knee.

With any luck, that wind will carry all your snow to Colorado.

Good luck Endless. I am sure that all of the uncertainty is difficult to deal with. If it helps any, it looks like you should be able to be skiing well into the summer this year locally. Plenty of snowpack hopefully.

ths storm may not have the duration of the last but it is 2x as intense.
LCC is closed indefinately & BCC should be.
only prayers to Allah, Jehovah, Bob, Buddha, Yahweh & Jah got me up the canyon this AM.
I drive it daily & have never seen it this bad.
$10 y'all sit @ the mouth of the canyon all day waiting.
