If I wear pleats, I prefer them out, not in. Too much chafing if they face the wrong way.

I keep hearing out . . . have real nice slacks that have pleats and my gal winces everytime I wear 'em . . . My super nice Bahama silk khakis, out, sheesh.

Really... who cares if your Dockers have pleats or not? It's not like you're wearing them out on the town.
Impress the fairer sex - pleats out.
Sitting in the office - whatever is clean & ironed.
On the slopes - jeans don't usually have pleats. (KIR)

God, I just hate it when fashion comes around to me being in style again. Yes, I drank martinis all through the '80s. What happens? All of a sudden they're "in", and I have to convince people I'm not trendy, I've always drank martinis.

And now...flat front chinos. I liked it better when I had to search all over to get them.
