First Midi trip of the Season
Christmass day saw me riding Powder and doing the first decent of the Midi of the Season.....yeah I've been up and played with kites with flingle, he has skied part of the way down and walked back, but acording to the lifties at both ends of the trip we were the first of the season....The glacers have moved qite a bit, some places stayed the same and others are quite different. Route finding was a challange and snow was short in places but it was a great and soulfull day.

Idris, I'm glad to see we're not the only ones gettin some. It's nice to see us all back in the deep.
As I stood atop Hidden Peak Saturday at -8 F getting blasted by the blowing powder, I realized I was standing on the very spot where I snapped that photo of you visiting the Bird for the first time--that was just 3 months ago.
The next time you visit Oootah, you've gotta time it to be here in the winter cuz you shoulda been standing here Saturday, mang. It was powder gluttony.
Nice pics of Cham!! Looking forward to your season TR's!
