Season passes.
Only reason i go in there.
Thank goodness we are getting a brand spanking new $4million base lodge, instead of a terrain park or increased terrain or a lift made in the last 20 years."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Expensive, but really good, food.
The other base lodge sells equipment, etc.
The other two lodges aren't really lodges... one is a snow cat palace and the other is, well, we don't really know what they do there... sometimes there are weird explosions and screams heard from that direction... I think it's related to snowmaking...

Meat pies (non-specific meat) and chips (French fries to most of you - big fat greasy, squidgy ones). Cups of milky tea. Not much else. Welcome to Scotland

Yeah, we are talking about the same Bridger Bowl. I like it fine the way it was 3yrs ago when I was there last $1.50 or $2 Corona's (don't remember which for obvious reasons), don't get me wrong I'm all for improvements but more than likely that will = $$ a hike in ticket prices which I'm sure none of us want. Are we talking about the same Bridger Bowl??????
I just don't want to see Bridger turn into Winter Park, Breckenridge, Copper, Keystone etc. resort/tourist crank as many skiers up the hill as possible and let em loose and charge em $5 a beer and another $5 for a burger. Bridger IMO is a true skiers mountain with out all the touristy bullshit. In my book Bridger ranks up there right along with Taos in many aspects.
Just remember with improvements come higher $$, in my book if ain't broke don't fix it.

The quips are getting good, I have to gripe though.
My mountain is unable to make money on Food and Beverage???WTF!!
They have closed a mid-mountain restraunt eatery and in turn supplied vending machines and reverted to gynasium style lunch-room tables. It stuns me that a company cannot make money on Food and Bev, it really shouldn't be that hard.
They also have a total of one actual resturaunt at the base, complete with shitty food and a complete lack of service. There was a nother cafeteria style resteraunt that has been closed for some years now, that occasionally has a small bar open and tables, nothing else. Sweet thnaks for the table, I guess, do I have to pay for that too?
I really don't like going to larger resorts and dealing with the prices etc, but at least it's available. I can at least go to say, Jack's at Copper and get a beer and a granola bar and soup if needed, here I have to search it out in the one deli that is private and is expensive as hell.
So, brown-bagger I will continue to be at my home resort, not always by choice but by lack thereof.
Skiing, where my mind is even if my body isn't.

Yeah that's why Bridger ruled $1.50 Corona's and $3.00 big ass quesadilla's, so you slam 3 beer's do a shot at midday break then hit some bumps come in do another round of Corona's with lots of Jagermeister and RedBull, oh and don't forget the Dead Nazi's (liquid courage), then go hike it to ridge and tear into that mountain like its your last run in your WHOLE life.
Then sit in the parking lot and finish off a 6 pack while listening to
Tool and Pink Floyd.
Not paying twice as much for a lift ticket to go on really fast lifts for terrain that's way overgrazed and get served a beer in cup for $5 or $6. And then have to park like 3 city blocks away from the chairs.

Why just because I like to have a good time, oh your referring to my "drinking problem" lol. Well around here we know how to hold our liquor and beer and we use designated drivers so bite me man, I've never ever even come close to skiing out of control and I have no close calls at for DUI's cause I don't drive drunk. So don't come around here and try and start somthing when you don't even know me at all.And then driving while talking shit on the cell phone....

I just have a different mindset that you, and that's having fun. What I call fun may be different than yours but that's no reason to blast me for it and make generaliztions and assumptions on someone who you don't even know.
