Canyons beacon practice up w/in the week
I mentioned this in another post but wanted to get the word out to PC side mags. The Canyons beacon practice spot is moving from the base to the top of the Gondy @ Red Pine and should be running over the next week. I never thought it was a good spot at the snow deprived base and this season's wet/higher elevation storms have kept the course from opening up. It will make for a good , quick practice spot en-route to the gates. The only bad is you need a pass/lift ticket to get there.

Sounds like you work there. What area around red pine is it? Sounds like a good move too.

I just play there as frequently as possible!
I am not sure of the exact spot but was told by the Patrol Director it will be in the vicinity of the Gondala top/Red Pine Lodge. One guess is the open field/slope to your right as you are crossing the bridge heading to Tombstone. Would be a perfect spot since everyone headed to the BC from the resort lifts pass that point.
