I'm going to take an avy level 1 class this coming february during a week break i have for presidents day. I've been considering driving up to the sierras (ASI) or visiting a friend in canada (near calgary) and taking a class through the RCA or doing something at jackson hole? I'm basically looking for the best avy class as i'll be traveling there to ski afterwards... while I dont think the instructor/school will be as big a deal for level 1 as it might be for a more advanced class, it probably still matters. any suggestions would be much appreciated.
