What should I expect to pay for these bindings? I found some for 300 bucks, and I do not know if that is high or not.

Shop price on the non-lusted after red 916s is like $160, right? If you can find 916s in a shop, retail, for $250 you're doing well, so no, at this time of year I don't think $300 for a highly sought after version is "unreasonable". Or rather, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask; I do think $300 is unreasonable to spend on bindings. But then again, I'm poor.

shop/pro form this year is closer to $200-220 with the weak dollar and all...

"retail" on 916's is $525 and the best online deals (untracked.com) are $325ish. and considering retail on 914's is $300+ and MAP is over $200, i think $300 for a new, hard to find item like the 916's for the non-hook'd up is reasonable.
