are my mojos mounted at the right position?
I never really cared about mounting points, but now that I have twin-tips (Head Mad_Trix Mojo) I do. I let a shop mount them the other day. Now i think my bootcenter is more or less exactly at some sort of mark there is on the side of the ski ( I guess this is the default mounting point). When I put the ski on my finger and try to balance it out, I find that the center ( or better: the point at which the weight is equally distributed) is about 2cm in front of that mark. It's all good, but when I look at the shorter end of the ski, it looks almost a bit too short because the other half is like at least 10 cm longer. Is that ok? When you say a ski is centermounted, does that mean it's mounted right at the middle of the ski? What exactly does it mean?

Did I talk to you in a chat somewhere? Decks!
BTW, seems just fine. From what I could tell. But what do I know.

i've got 186's mojos, still unmounted. there were some thoughts about moving mounting point a couple of cms back, but now i decided to use the default position. the thing is, that mojos are quite twintipped, and when i positioned them on the floor right next to my old dynastars (center marks correspond), i've found out that because of high rised tips effective tail and nose lengths' proportion is not so "center-mounted". the only sad thing is that the whole effective length is not even close to 186 - it is almost similar with 178 outlands

ok, next week i'll mount'em, say 'bye' to my boss and go for two weeks of vacation... hope to have some snow by that time, cause right now Caucasia is not very snowy
oh shit here comes the ground!
