Panorama showing Grenoble City with le Mont Blanc to the left, Allevard ski resort (lights to left), les 7 Laux ski resort, Chamrousse (lights middle), erm la Meije just to the right of Chamrousse, les Deux Alpes - lights middle center are ratracs on the Mont du Lans glacier, and Oisans/Ecrins to the right.
Picture taken at full moon in February 2006 from the Vercors. I have a 75cm poster of this on my office wall (original is 6000 x 2000 pix) which is really spectacular.

Love those pictures of Big Bend. Hard to believe it's Texas knowing what the landscape of most of the rest of Texas is like.

well ive been lurkin a while..... but there are so many sick shots and so much stoke in this thread that ive been inspired to post... not much to contribute but im guessing most of you usa people havent been to these locations.
From the top of Niseko Annupuri, Hokkaido, Japan, January this year, you are looking at mt yotei:
From midway up Turoa resort, Mt Ruapehu, New Zealand July 2 2006. The mountain in the distance is taranaki. Bit rocky but we've had another meter of snow now.
