Thread: Comin to Collaraddy!

Just booked a bunch of business meetings in and around Boulder, CO for Monday & Tuesday Jan 13th - 14th....which conveniently , leaves me that weekend to ski!

I'll probably end up flying in on Saturday, Jan 11th (might be able to swing Friday, but don't know yet), which leaves my one day, a Sunday (1/12) to ski somewhere.

The only place I've ever been in Colorado is Winter Park/Mary Jane 3 years ago. With one day to ski....Where should I go?

I suggest Loveland because it's got some great terrain, it's right at I-70, and it's cheaper then anyother nearby resort.

Where ever you go, I'll to my very best to show up and meet the real Tyrone!

cool....Loveland sounds cool. This is still a month off, and conditions will also be a factor...but.....time to get out the Atlas.

I'm psyched...haven't done nearly enough skiing in Colorado.

sweet! Glad to hear you're coming out. I would just wait and see who has the most snow and where the storms are hittin'.

I think it'll be all about conditions. Where ever you end-up I'll be sure to show.

i'm on my way out there too man! can't wait. skiing january 3rd & 4th wherever it is good. just missing you by a week tyrone, fack!

Heh, maybe MD9 will throw another Crackhouse shindig and then we can show you how to javelin skis into the ceiling and make your own custom skis using power tools

I am sure they climb great, but thier downhill capability has yet to be seen.

Ski the Legend. Go early, breakfast (cheap) in the cafeteria, You're all set when the lift starts up. You'll get to see Loveland pass there and back.

A-Basin is where it's at - where the skiers ski and the snowboarders ride and the snowlerbladers snowlerblade!

Saweet....Just booked flights to arrive in DIA on Friday evening, Jan 9th.

Therefore I'll be able to ski Sat & Sun (1/10 & 1/11), rather than just Sun.

nope, not at all. you thinking Berthoud? I'm not certain if I'll have my freeride setup mounted by then however.

Bert's always on my mind, but I was just gauging what options might exist for you depending on where the snow is. as for freerides don't worry bootpacking is always a very viable option although beaconshovelprobe is a necessity
