    Seth Pistol Mounting Questions

I just got a used seth pistol and tyrolia binding for 200 bucks. Good shape and all.

It is on its second mount and so I don't wanna remount it. Its currently mounted @ +5 or so.

How will I need to adjust my skiing for all mountain rather then park?

Any advice? Is it really that big of a difference?

I'd say Chord Center ± (Tech Talk, JONG)^2, depending on weight.

    P.S., Nice 'tar.

do you need to re-mount for yer boot to fit? cause if you don't try em +5. if you don't like it then put more holes in the ski.

i rocked my first gen pistols at +1 and second gen pistols at +4. plus 4 was way better. more tail was a good thinng on this ski, counters the soft tip and tail. and no i ain't no park rat. seth mounts his at +4 or 5 i think.

p.s. tech mother fucking talk dood.

Hmmmm? OK, Jong away, but why would the skier who has basically designed the ski, mount his bindings 5cm forward. Don't they design the ski to meet his skiing style and needs....so wouldn't he mount them on the line?

I have always heard that seth mounts them at +5 to turn faster.

They don't make 'em for him. They need to sell skis to everyone, not just people who can do a lincoln loop at 50 mph off of a 50 footer.

on the K2 factory team boards, Seth has mentioned several times that he mounts his binders at +4/+5...with the 189's in particular, it makes the ski seem much shorter and a bit more responsive
