lightest and best ventilated freeridehelmet around..
I'm looking for a helmet that provides as well protection from rockfall during long climbs as some security while descending. so, it should be light and as ventilated as possible. I'am well aware, that it's going to be a compromise in every aspect. (if anyone knows of a good multipurpose climbing helmet, I am considering that too.) thanks

Just go try some on and find one that fits well.
I've got more suits than Liberace, but less than Eastvailhucker.

when I went I didn't find a product that suits my requirements as discribed above.
the best I found was:
camp startech. didn't fit.
camp starteck. that fits well, but I'ld be worried about the back of my head.
(bdiamond halfdome. didn't fit.)

Putting the "core" in corporate, one turn at a time.
Metalmücil. We've been giving people pink ear since 2010

Give the Briko X-fusion a try. About as lite as it comes & has removeable ear pieces for warmer days or hot climbs! This is my freeride/bc helmet of choice. Like 9 oz lite!

most ski/bike helms are single impact
most climbing are multi inpact
Giro fuse is well vented, gooc customer service etc.

I have a hard-to-fit, mailbox head. I take and XL, but most brands are too wide. ProTec is the only bucket that fits my head. They are lightweight and cheap, too. Mine needs replacement due to shell delam after 4 seasons, so durability is pretty schweet too.
Chocolate? This is doodoo, BABY!

the giro fuse looks interesting. I guess I'll try that next. does anybody have experiences with headlamps on the giro fuse?

Carrera Airborne is super light supervented removable earpads... I would have bought this if only I could find goggles which didn't gaper gap with it (even Carrera goggles did!).
Camp Startech... I have one of these as a ski mountaineering/climbing helmet. Its frontal and read impact protection are certainly not up to general ski helmets.

Marker makes a M3 light multiimpact ski helmet but you have to remove the Marker logo or it will will prerelease from your skull.
