Tell me where to ski 4/6-13ish

Going somewhere, I guess leaving 4/6 or 7. Skiing for a week. Anywhere in NA on the table (except AK, really).
UT? CO? Tahoe? MT? Whistler? Those are what I'm thinking...but which place? Or somewhere else?
Criteria are terrain and 2+ feet of fresh daily. (For serious, though...have put off booking anything trying to wait to see about snow, but I think we need to make the call pretty soon.)
Say 'Killington' to me (or PM Rontele) and I'll have to kick your mother in the head.
    Thx, mags.

Interesting how the eclipse seems to be the main, current driver of VT's springtime tourism push. Was just at Burke and it was all eclipse all the time...

After open house sugar shacks there is only the mud season finale until Memorial Day. Not at all surprised with the eclipse hype.

Oh, yeah, I shouldn't have been, it just hadn't occurred to me that it would be what it is. I guess I'm impressed at VT's tourism machine...

    Is TGR turning into Facebook?

    Jeezum Crow.

I suggest you go to A-Basin and make sure you announce your arrival.

The obvious answer is, of coarse, A Basin. With terrain as your focus, that's up to you. But I'd doubting your need to book now. A baller like you should be able to navigate the flights and the rest will be relatively cheap and quiet.

The question to me reads, What are the great spring skiing areas that have a good base right now. If you are going on ski vacation in the second week of April hoping your pow, you are doing it wrong. It may happen, but it shouldn't be the focus.

    To me the list is:
    Bird
    Whistler
    Mammoth
    Tahoe (never been)

So, I know the Dex crew is super serious about there skiing but I'd, if I lived in NY, be looking for somewhere that has a good patio and apres scene and a place to enjoy the difference pace of spring.

A-Bay is the only answer. Hilarious.

Highest douchebag skier/boarder factor at any area I've skied
I think wherever Dex goes second week in April will but this to the test. Anything resembling rules, regulations or decorum will be totally absent. I can just environ EC racers crew playing freeride with their Spyder get ups and, of coarse, the appropriate goggle lense taking their skiing seriously.

Meanwhile, your local tub tub technician rolls by switch in a speedo and pit vipers with a head of mushrooms with a Camel Cooler full of White Claws.

Can't disagree--that list is basically half of the list I have anyway...and bags of dicks (and eclipses) aside, A-Basin could be a good answer. Have done it in April before and probably can't go wrong with it.

Are you IKONic? If the last few years are any indication, last season "Pow" days in whatever we call the mountains in Summit/Eagle/Grand are a total junkshow even midweek.

There are enough people that "ain't over it" including this low brow drunker gaper unique to this part of the season that is can still be pretty busy. But yeah, Spring Time...its a dirty free for all.

Not so ironically, I'm try to get some Snowbird/Point of the Mountain time around similar dates. But I'm crowds averse. So there will be no Moab, 18rd, Loma, Lunch Loops for me during that time. Luckily the desert is a big place.

Last minute Dexter. Go where the snow is if course. Having said that if Louise is in shape and you've never been the terrain is killer and skiing can be phenomenal.

Jackson is staying open longer than in the past- we are open until April 14th this year although you didn’t have Wyoming on your list.
We’re supposed to get some more fresh snow too
