    Things you're looking forward to

Going to see Cage the Elephant in Toronto on Aug 7th. I'm so stoked. Love their music. Taking my nephew who a bigger fan than I am.

Haven't been to a concert in ages. Actuall I was suppose to see George Thurogood last year but it was cancelled.

Having things to look forward to helps break up the day in and day out routine whether it be a trip or family event. Covid has given me a new appreciation for anything I haven't be able to do much of and I'm going to make the most of every chance. Screw the hermit life.

Currently in Las Vegas. Will be done here in about three more weeks, then I can go home. Very much looking forward to that day.

Looking forward to my knee being good enough to fucking ski again. 1 month post-surgery and it was doing pretty good until slipped on an icey stair Saturday night. Now back to recovery square one. Fuck.
    Ok. Self-pity complete.

    Things you're looking forward to

Just checked the 50yo thread, and as a 49y3mo dude, it’s been resonating…but I have found that having good things on the schedule horizon helps when it feels like the walls are falling in, so was psyched to see this thread.

So I’m keeping my eyes up and looking forward to a trip to Asheville in April to see some friends and ride bikes/eat delicious food and drink tasty beers for 4 days.
Also looking forward to seeing King Gizzard at Red Rocks in Sept.
In between I look forward to enjoying warm, beautiful, primo bike riding weather….gaahhh! We got a taste of dry dirt in town this week, but looks like we might be getting another solid dump…which I’m sure other folks are looking forward to.

    - Another Utah and AZ desert riding trip in late April.

    - Finally a relatively decent snowpack in BC to help mitigate forest fires and be good groundwork for spring trailwork

    - Getting my elderly parents out for more walks now the weather improves

I know this is a skiing forum and I'm supposed to love winter, but I don't. Aside from sliding on snow I fucking hate winter. And people who say they love it are full of shit. Dark, wet and cold. Aside from it facilitating your favorite activity, how is that good in anyway?

I'm looking forward to flip flops and shorts while watching a giants game on the patio with an ice cold beer. Hiking in the Sierra. Fly fishing the eastside. Mountain biking amongst the pines and wildflowers. Gonna be near 75 this weekend. It's almost here...

We were in Beaver Creek the other day and my son looks at the upcoming events videoboard and yells, "hey Dad! Look, it's the moe.!"

Apparently he pays attention to the screen in the car when the music is playing lol. Bummed to have missed them there this weekend.

    Skiing on my hundredth birthday.

It’ll be a while, but you gotta have goals

On a more foreseeable note, exploring in McElmo Creek and Hovenweep this week.

New sig? Now I’m looking forward to cranking GBV when I get home tonight 🤘

Spring skiing. Fast in-town laps at Chapman for a few more days. Telluride at the end of the month. Silverton unguided? Wolfy. Touring around the San Juans.

Andrew Savage and Chastity Belt in Santa Fe in April.

A few days biking around Fruita & GJ

Maybe go on a fire this summer and buy a few pairs of HL skis

    Refinancing my fat mortgage FFS
