    AKturnanburn RIP

I never met him. He was one of the few Alaska skiers posting stoke here. When he quit posting I figured he was hanging at his place in Nicaragua full time. I am visiting in the old neighborhood. Was riding over to the local trails the other day. Spotted this

Asked my friend I was staying with what it was about. Apparently he was driving home with a full water tank in the back of his truck, lost control and water tank crushed him.

just thought I would post this as maybe others had interacted with him and were wondering about him.

No shit. Packed a lot into 41 years but way too young. Sad but inspiring read.

Wow, so sad, but sounds like an amazing life. More then most.people.will.do in several lifetimes, so congratulations on a life well lived, but too short.

He had to have one of the best avatars in TGR history. Cheers to a great mang.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

    Abe was a great guy.

He took me in as a kook from "The Lower" and show me how slednecks access amazing terrain,. He was a great skier, bongo player, shit talker and camera man. And on more than one drunk occasion, let me crash in his photog studio in downtown Anchoragua.

Here's a shot he snapped of me early season above Summit Lake. RIP Abraham and thanks for the eye opening memories and good times.
