You drove from Bozeman to Seattle in bibs after skiing? I don't think that's the flex you think it is.
And your daughter, too? What is this, child abuse? You don't have fresh clothes for your kid?
All of that coming from a parking lot full of dog shit and man piss, as you said?
Let me guess, there's a dingy glass pipe in your pocket, too? Sneaking side hits pretending like your daughter doesn't notice?

Hah! That night be the namby pamby SoCal surfing experience, but the boating community experience is much different (and for that matter the pacific northwest surfing experience.) Rain yes, snow yes, ice storm yes, cold AF yes. Good grammar, no.
This thread is so dumb. Wtf am I doing here?
I put my ski socks and pants on in the lodges. Who gives a crap?

My kid will strip down to base layers and maybe throw on a puffer vest, but no matter what I bring - clean socks, sweatpants, t shirts - they just will not change.
We have about a four hour drive home. I'll change my underwear in the car after skiing sometimes. If, OTOH, we are just crossing the valley, we leave fully ready to ski. I'll even suit up for about an hour drive. More than that it is just too easy to change int he car and be comfy the whole drive.
And thank you CoPilot. I see now how I fit into this all important conversation.

I've changed in the parking lot more than a few times when arriving directly from the airport.

At the hill everybody ( except for my former GF ) is fully dressed when they get out of their vehical becuz its only 20 min from main street so i can imagine not wanting to wear ski gear during a very long car ride
GF was entirely on her own schedule, slow getting up, slow to get skiing, i never discussed anyof it with her
which i knew upfront so I didnt sweat it and besides I had probably just skied 4 days in a rowLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know

^^^This
And ^^^ this.
This thread is as dumb as the “where should I go to chase powder?” one.
Anent Toadman’s wearing wool socks at home, I just pull a pair of thick wool socks over lightweight ski socks when I get home. But I don’t sweat like a whore in church either.
