Von Miller renegotiating less gaurunteed money is the real surprise.
BTW The Dynasty by Benedict about the Pattsies is a great read.

Don’t worry, the Bills signed Mitch Trubisky so it will be ok

Mac Jones now moves into his inevitable role as journeyman back-up QB, traded to Jags for a 6th rounder. Ooof.

    Love seeing Baker get paid
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
    Cletus: Duly noted.

Jerry Jeudy to the Brownies. I have to think that’s another good Andrew Berry deal.

Does baker need his own thread? Because between the two nfl threads and the browns thread I don’t know where to go for my news about the best insurance spokesman since the gecko.

Happy for Baker, no matter where we get our news about him.

Looks like it’s the Russ-Pickett two-headed QB monster in Pittsburgh now. AFC North turns the dumpster fire cannon to the Steel City for once.

If I had twenty guesses where Russ would end up, I wouldn’t have guessed Pitt. What a weird dynamic

Wilson playing four games a season against the Browns and Ravens defenses does not sound like a recipe for success.

Browns got fleeced in that trade. Enjoy the head case who can't catch.

Tomlin is a great coach, I can almost see Russ doing OK there

That seems to be the consensus among the steel city doomscrollers this morning.

Fleeced seems a bit much when they already had 2 picks in each of the 4th and 5th rounds and only gave up one of each. Berry got Amari Cooper, who has been nothing short of amazing for the Browns, for a 5th and 6th, and I think Cooper will be the grownup in the room to show his fellow Bama alum and former 1st round pick how to act in the League. He can be a great #2 WR on this offense I think.

    Watson - QB
    Chubb - RB
    Cooper - WR1
    Jeudy - WR2
    N'Joku - TE

Wow. Kirk Cousins to Atlanta on a 4 year deal.

Apparently the market for Justin Fields is approaching zero.

My Vikings…..dead! With that, I’d be even more pissed off if we gave Cousins a contract like that to stay here.

I'm just glad Saquon didn't end up in Baltimore. Ravens are tough enough as is.

Tee Higgins has requested a trade from the Bungles after being franchise tagged. I was really hoping the Browns could have made a run at him in free agency.

On a funnier note, the level of delusion coming from Pittsburgh fans today over the Russ signing is 2017-Browns-level. "This is the guy that's gonna bring it all together!" Ok, he's been the most sacked QB the last two years, likes to run around like he's still 25 and apparently is given a "fake-ass" rating from the locker room. I can't wait to watch.

There was similar delusion from Broncos country Let’s Ride but the Steelers have the benefit of two years of film.

They should really secure him to a large contract before playing a snap, for consistency sake.
