Bet that I can send an ollie by Sept 31, 2024: Hubris or possible?

I'm 42 and haven't skateboarded in over 25 years. I was a poor skateboarder back then and did no tricks. I don't even own a skateboard yet. That said, I have a high level of foolish hubris.

Training will probably begin in May when ski season is over so injury wont take turns away

    What are my chances?

I give you 98% of getting the back wheels off the ground and landing on your deck. Not that hard to do an Ollie as a coordinated adult. A good moving Ollie is another beast.

And then, after you heal up from that, slide the handrail.

at the very least, it should hold the madness and malaise at bay for a few months.

I bought a longboard when I was about 42 years of age. It seemed like a good idea at the time
