First time in a long while the ten day forecast holds some promise. Not that it is wise to put much hope on ten days out, but at least it is something. Happy New Year one and all!!!

Guns were blasting all day at Magic. It’s 18° at the base right now so should continue to pound all night.

AI trained on TGR sounds like a source of content for an Unofficial Networks competitor, just more interesting, better written, and closer to accurate.

Well, either that, or a terrifying future full of Euro wagons and ski offs to settle conflict.

Jay was crazy this past weekend, skied a handful of laps on Saturday only - it was firm and fast, definitely edge-able but the crowds were wild mid-day. no wind tho, so we had a great time tailgating in the parking lot. fingers crossed on the long range forecast over the next week or so, let's get the guns blazin' and pow factory churnin'.

Nice shot of the kiddos above.

That entry chute up top has puckered many a sphincter.

Just checking in, forecast looks interesting enough to actually purchase my pass, better late than never.

    Happy New Year all!

It's a tradition (this will be year 12 I think) that on my birthday, or the closest Plattekill operating day, I buy a round for the house. Anyone with a lift ticket or pass, plus patrol and mtn ops gets a beer, if they are in the bar, when I head in for the day.

Monday I'm turning 65(!) and Sunday I am buying a round. This is the last year of this tradition as I will be retired next year and in no position to be doing stupid shit.

So come on out to ski in Roxbury. Should be a fun day. As always.
