I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this.... but they also haven't said where it's going in... i.e.replacing a lift or new terrain.

    Will.have to wait and see.

I doubt they would replace the Red chair as the winds on the upper mountain are pretty extreme so that would continue to limit top of mountain traffic which is a good thing.

makes you wonder what a 30+ year old lift sells for, vs a new one and what the estimated repair/maintenance costs are on new vs 30 years old.

Good skiing out there last few weeks in Purcells and Rockies if you get above 6500ft. Hope everyone is having some fun.

Ive- got a few items in the Buy/sell that might interest local mags for pick up. Cheers

I’m not aware of any, but you could try calling Tunnel 49, they offer taxi and shuttle service.

The white fish bike retreat was the closest thing to ring that I'd ever seen. Cricket sold so not sure if they are still doing that

Bike retreat shuttle.might be limited to summers only.

In my past summer shuttle research, I think there is an airport shuttle from Eureka. It might be called Cowboy Cab and Shuttle. This is from the FCA website.

Eureka Airport Shuttle, (To and from Eureka), 406-250-0137

Get a ride to the border and have them meet you?

    Thanks!

Didn't know something like Eureka Airport Shuttle was even an option. Get dropped at the border, walk through customs to get your next ride on the other side of the border

Excellent day skiing at SSV. Good to see a good quantity of snow falling….finally….

Still lots of hazards but I’d consider it a quality pow day!

    14 overnight at SSV
    5 at LL
    8 at Quay.

    -19'C everywhere.

Might as well go ski before the deep freeze hits.

Quay big chair was excellent today. Showed up at 11. Very few tracks. Laid down a dozen runs and left very satisfied. Flurries on/off all day. Anyone hit Ssv? Looked good but was scared of the winds and windchill at a very windy ski hill….

Lake was skiing quite nicely today too. Typical Lake 5cm which meant closer to 15cm in spots on the back. Wasn't too cold to start, but did certainly get colder as the day went on. Time to hibernate for a few days now!

Marmot announced they will be closed Thursday&Friday. Smart move to do it early, easier to do on a weekday during ghe first week of the year.
