    My kids sent that to me. Ain’t no 20. 11 seconds is sick. No hesitation. Full send. Clean line. Nice.

    But actually Jimi Ryan is a really nice guy. Took a Pro 1 from us at AAI last year and paid attention. Works hard and now it's proving out.

    I’m skiing JH for a few days. I’m thinking of hiking the Headwall tomorrow and dropping over to Mile Long if I had a partner. Is anyone one interested in a Granite lap?

    Thanks wstdeep. Good to know. I was kinda thinking it might be holding decent snow but maybe too many others had the same idea.

    Lots of "best day of the season" moments over the last 7-10 days, in an already strong season.

    Started out -10F this morning (sun had been up an hour!) but I spent most of the day skinning in a short-sleeve t-shirt. Areas I thought would have been sun-affected held 6" of dry powder, so I altered my plan. Puzzled about that one but will take it.

    My ski partner & I didn't see another soul in 8h.

    Thanks!

    Friend said I should have skied the whole line in 1 go (that was 1/2 of it) & posted it — but I needed to post up to get eyes on my friends so they could ski non-stop!

    Somehow even though we had 399" as of Thursday morning and got 1" that night, we rolled back to 398". Not sure how that happens. Guess we will cross 400 twice this season. Maybe it will be Groundhog Day?

    Still some dry snow out there:

    And... he might be one of the most genuine and pleasant mags on here.

    But he's a fucking machine.

    I had an arm wrestling match with a big swiss tree today.

    I won. Got the full one-armed body slam tho.
    Tree knew aikido or some shit.
    I'm gonna say I think I ski pretty hard but fuck me if I don't get my ass handed to me on the pretty regular schedule.

    I gotta come home to JH to heal up. And that's just weird to me.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    And yo! Both JH locals Swerve and Lindenle were absolute studs at the EuroBBI24.
    Nailing the best lines, showing their big mountain savvy both ascending and descending, and being both party and dining Manimals, but also stalwarts for me. Always filling in any gaps in my game.
    Thank you both a megaton and you know I'm your man, anytime I can help.
    You both elevated my vacation to A+.
    Thanks! Been getting quiet in here — my posts are making too high a % of recent posts = time to be quiet.
    I'm lucky to get my share.... but there are lots of other silent assassins getting after it daily.
    Punctuation matters. Did you mean to say this? "Fuck yeah!!! Bud!!"
    Snapped this the other day. Thought it was a throwaway little shot of my buddy pow-surfing a tree-lined hallway on a big storm day. I liked the framing of the highway at the top. It was impossible to see at the time, but there was a car passing (there was almost no traffic that day — we skinned across the highway... probably the only time that will ever happen for me). It's visible on a large monitor.
    Fun shot! That car in the shot is surreal. Reminds me of a Pixar easter egg.
    Storm day above 9,000'... spent a bunch of time out there as you never know when the days of widespread cold, dry powder may end. March sun is strong! I get reverse seasonal depression.
    Thought I'd see what I could do with an iPhone. *shrug*
