Save a ton of money by buying an Alta mid-week pass and full IKON. This gives him unlimited Solitude, unlimited Alta during week (free parking). Buy a Solitude mid-week parking pass for $100. Use IKON on weekends for Bird carnage.

I’m heading to your glorious land of warm temps and sunshine next week, probably skiing solo at Alta and Snowbird on Monday/Tuesday before family rolls in. Anybody want to meet up for some turns?

You get a free day at each LCC BCC resort with your Alta pass, so that’s 8 Bird days with the ikon.

Soft snow, sunshine, and gang skiing. You can’t ask for much more than that.

Fun skiing with Tgapp today! Gonna have to use a bitch ticket to marvel at the number of people walking up 210 to Snowbird from parking roadside at White Pine. If UPD hadn’t stopped people from parking roadside a few hundred yards below entry one the White Pine roadsiders would’ve met the Snowbird roadsiders. It didn’t deter the hikers.

Twas a great day, snow is still soft with minimal hard spots.

Parking up there is getting kookier by the weekend. Highlight of the bypass apres was watching a lady attempt to turn around while stuffing a parking pole into her bumper.

Well, wanted to get a few more photos for entertainment and perhaps oogling, but got obsessed with the better ones. These are from this past Friday, taken while at Snowbird. Hope someone enjoys.

Great sunny powder days this weekend. Decreasing danger, scary looking slide on Gobblers this afternoon however.

    great shots benneke!

had an awesome time skiing the bird with Bob and his kid - they showed me some super cool ski zones including the cliff that his kid sent (really pretty damn big). amazing day, great weather. felt good to be out.

snowbird has amazing safety meeting conference rooms, too. the bird feeders are a nice touch.

Great stoke. Found some goods yesterday at bird. Speaking of parking kookery, I was lacing up on the bypass the other day when my car started sliding downhill. Fortunately I was there and jumped into the moving car and slammed the brakes but goddamn it was a nightmare verified. I have snow tires but they weren't good enough. 4x4 but set to 2wd, car in park, ebrake one. Rear wheels sliding fronts spinning. Lot attendant says it happens all the time, usually it ends with people returning from skiing to a crashed car. I moved until I had 2 wheels on dry pavement. So PSA for anyone who hasn't seen this before.

WTF is up with the upbeat music with a kitschy message about 'think your getting away' and timing the drop to the avalanche.
