Removing / Installing Hollowtech Crankset without Tool

Got my new trendy 165mm SLX crankarms, and now cant find the damn plastic bearing endcap tool that i misplaced somewhere. Any good tricks on how to remove and reinstall this without marring the hell out of it? I know it should be finger tight only, I just dont want to screw it up.

Fit the largest torx bit you have in there, along with a big flathead screwdriver?

A pair of scissors that have a tapered shape. Push them in until the scissors fit snugly, twist away.
