Was about 10th chair at Magic this morning. Rusty was 1st chair. Jeff with a G was pretty aggressive opening terrain and so we partook (Is that a word?).

Mostly untracked down Up Your Sleeve to a sleeper audible to ski down Magic Carpet. 2 sets of tracks in front of us. Light on your feet and not hittin nuthin.

2nd trip, took a chance on Upper Trick which, although groomed, skied fantastic, to Mystery Bowl which doesn't seem to be on anybody's radar. Got a bunch of untracked turns down that one.

Goniff joined but the place was pretty schralped. A few more runs and I called it quits because the wait was up to 5 minutes. Such a snob.
Musta been a few back from you in the line. Fun time exploring a new place, even with limited terrain open. Will be back…if/when it snows.

Have any of you kooks skied Saddleback in the past week or so? The Bottlewoman and I are considering an escape from VT this week. Have skied Da Loaf on numerous occasions but have somehow never done the Saddleback thing. It has always looked extra tasty.....

I skied Saddleback Thursday before the recent snow, but don’t expect that to change things much from what I saw. Good coverage on trails with a deep pack on man made. Snow is generally firm but edgeable all places. BMOM is starting to round into form and another 6” will really help the woods. $15 Thursday and $25 Friday plus free nights Wednesday and Thursday Feed the powder chicken.

    Sounds like a great time!

At Saddleback, Groomers are skiers Left and Glades are skiers Right. Traverse far right to Muleskinner… it’s the end of the line but a classic.

Wish I could meet up with you and Bottlewoman again to show you around.

A private cat tour of Beaver Glades at BMOM would be a fantastic day. Highly recommended skiing with him.

Indeed we do. I would be very happy to tour you around, but due to be in Baxter State Park for the weekend. Blacks map shows most of what’s there. Don’t be afraid to follow tracks if the snow is good, just watch for cliffs

I would pay good money if someone could sneak this onto printings of Epic passes.

Hey Magicians - gonna be there Feb 11-12 to watch my freshman college kid club race. Where’s a good place to stay? (Not asking for a hookup as Mrs.Jam will be w me).

watching your kid run doesn’t take much time so if anyones around that weekend, would be great to make some turns w someone who knows the place
