Did Work (Do Work Appreciation Thread)

Do Work has broken his ass as Ops Director at Magic VT for the last half decade. He's moving to greener pastures and I'll let you all take it from here. If you know him, you appreciate him.

Thanks Do Work. Look forward to you and the Mrs becoming my ski buds again, and teaching your son to Telemark. Love you like a brother.

Agreed, he has done so much for Magic, both as Dir of Mtn Ops and before as a leader of Volunteer day glade clearing and welder extraordinaire. I just hope this change results in being able to ski with him more.

    Thanks Matt!

Never met the man but heard great things on here for ever, magic is what real skiing is.

    Kind regards!

So sad that he won’t be directing things but as slatham said, maybe I get to ski with him again. It’s been too long. Hope you’re reading this and know that you’ve made a difference.

Seriously - Best of wishes to DW. The dude embodies everything that a good mag should strive to be. Stoke meter pegged for new opportunities.

Pretty cool. Thinking I remember this guy really just starting out and learning to shred about 15 years ago, welding school and welding jobs... Somewhere along the way dating an NFL cheerleader or something like that?? Then getting the gig at Magic and working his way up the ladder there through sheer love for this amazing outdoor experience we all love.

    Well played... and "worked"..

HUDGE difference. There may not still be a Magic w/o him. I'll miss knowing the mountain was always in capable hands but can't wait to see the new chapter! In the meantime, i have you penciled in for these days again...

    Can't wait my friend.

I taught that dude how to ski. Look at him go! I kid, I kid. Seriously miss hanging out and discussing safety and whatnot. Best of luck, MC!

In addition to his work at MM, let’s also remember DW for organizing the Tshirt/hoody/thong sale to raise money for Andy Campbell (sitski13)

As I told him directly, looking forward to a red chair safety meeting. Congrats, and thanks for everything over the years.

    ULLRFEST!

    Congrats DW!
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
