Patchskiing 2022
This thread is long overdue. Please be patient while I get caught up.
Feel free to add your own comments as well as photos and stories of your own patchskiing adventures.
Stay tuned. After the funky winter we had things should be fairly interesting later this summer and autumn.
I'll start with one from Monitor Pass on April, 3rd.

Ebbetts Pass, May 16, 2022
After hearing that Ebbetts Pass had opened recently, Mrs. Vets and I took our dogs Zooey and Hazel up for some fun on the snow.

Monitor Pass, May 22nd
Zooey and I headed up to Monitor Pass to see if there were any patches of leftover corn snow.

Sonora Pass, May 23rd
We headed up to Sonora Pass for some cool fun on May 23rd. I skinned up. Mrs. Vets snowshoed. Zooey and Hazel used their built-it doggie 4WD.

Skiing Sonora Pass with Mrs Vets, Zooey and Hazel on June 7th

Great photos, Vets. In the one with Zooey retrieving the stick, there is an intriguing steep, narrow pitch in the background.
Here are a couple of photos from June in the northern Front Range: One earlier in the month of a fairly long "patch", and one from just a couple of days ago of a smaller patch.
