I skied Mt. Sputnik with Mrs. Vets and our dogs Zooey and Hazel to start my 229th consecutive month skiing.
Mt. Sputnik proudly opened the season earlier than any of the ski resorts in Nevada.

Vets, great photo! That narrow ribbon of snowy road makes me think of a WROD, except in this case it's a white ribbon of determination :-)
