Ok, we have covered passes, bikes, where bill likes to ski.....
I must have missed it, who is buying my skis? Or should I keep them and add some 183 gotamas?

then it would go something like this,
crossrangers for crap days and ice
stormriders for week after any new snow = tracked out mix of chop or light pow days not so in the trees.
karmas for light pow days and touring and trees
the new ski would be a deep day can go in trees like gotama or such.

Or it would be 184 mantra to replace the goat and stormriders.
    Harvest the ride.

also: pick up a cheap set of something ( i like twintips) for just destroying in the early season and for checking if stuff is ready. Spend 200 bucks MAX on these. Invaluable in saving the sweet bottoms to your nice skis.

I don't believe in rock skis. If I'm gonna spend money on shiny new skis and core new bindings, I'm gonna ski on them. Rocks be damned.

there's something to be said for having a pair of skis you hate though. Makes you a lot more adventurous in the early season.

I'm rocking the Bolton valley pass this winter, anyone else? Bolton is in a box canyon, and I love boxes.

That's a perfect plan and an amazing way to torment bill. Get a lot of people close to Stowe without actually skiing at Stowe.

But not canyon boxes... Cuz that's like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.

You gotta take what you can get. Pack it with wet newspaper to take up some of the space, works every time.
