No, they all suck just in various different ways. I use ally, wells, and key. They're all shitty. No b&m locations say ally SSI there's no way to talk go get actual help from a real person. No tellers at key anymore so every time I go in to do a quick transaction I have to get the sales pitch about opening more accts. And wells, what can you say about wells that hasn't already been said? They are not good.

Hookers suck. Banks give it to you dry with no reach around.

Yeah, Wells is on a whole other level of predatory bullshit yet somehow mixed with incompetence.

I dunno... my local bank doesn't seem to suck. But I don't use them for much other than a checking account.

My local credit union has seemed ok, though I just stopped banking with them. USAA has been ok, at times they have sucked but for the most part they're fine.

I just opened a savings account with Emigrant (high interest). Hope they don't suck.

Does anyone remember when you could get a savings account with 6.5% interest?

Same there, division of 1st Security. Free checking for business and personal and low interest paid on my HSA. That said, when I call they know who I am and in November there was a mystery ACH debit ($ 196.00) out of my Business account. I spoke with the Branch Manager and she refunded the debit on the spot. There was no identifier with the debit so I guess they ate the amount.

All in all I like them. They don't pay shit for savings accounts.

    Random Unthreadworthy Questions

    USAA is pretty great.
But it’s kind of an exclusive/not exclusive club for people who love to talk about how awesome it is with little to no reference for comparison.

Oddly, I have been with Wells Fargo since they bought Great American in the 80's. I just use the drive through teller and on-line banking app (which is actually pretty good). I really do not remember any issues with them, but I am likely not their normal client.

Because it's SOP for most banks these days. And it pisses me off that they do when I'm the one loaning them money.

Kind of what I thought, had white fuzz on the blue.

Cut it off and continued to make dinner.

Taste it as well - it can get even funkier than blue cheese normally is. If you notice a weird/unpleasant aftertaste, it may be "bad."

I mean - it ain't gonna kill ya, but you might find consuming it to be less pleasant than it could be.

Well I'm not dead this morning.

Bought it last week, has pull date in March. Accidentally left it on counter the other night after stuffing olives.

    Heh

    Stuffing olives.

    That’s my new favorite euphemism
