I watched that with Kristen a couple years ago. We were enjoying the movie up to the part where he finds his lady. Man, scary shit to think about. I mean just skiing through the woods all happy, and the next minute you find your love and skiing partner dead.
That part haunted me for a long time, and this past season I did find Kristen snaked by a tree branch, hanging upside down, and screaming about her ski still attached and her knee. Scary to think about the fact that we usually don't follow each other that close through the woods, and on that day, I happened to be just behind her. I'm not sure she would have been found otherwise, or even gotten her ski off, and she was in a bad way. Btw, she was back on skis the next week without any knee damage.
Thumbs up on the movie, and the pig rules.
Didn't they film it in one place but set it in another town? It was either Aspen/Telluride or the other way around. Haven't seen the movie in a while, but I remember thinking something wasn't quite right with the setting.
