It is. Get some while you can. Lower mountain is heavy but up top is nice and creamy. Low key vibes today. Have to bail at noon for work, but still light snow right now.

Hit the last hour at alpy

Shot ~ 4/5 was skiing great, but just about everything else was mashed potatoes.

Headed to Fir for their last hour

More of the same - hot pow to be found in the trees still, which was pretty fun.

Then headed to Hyak to walk around until it was too dark, more hot pow to be found, but I think the trees were skiing best as they were more corned up.

...Things are starting to look pretty thin up there, so get it while you can

Not just Alpental. Everything is closed until Wednesday. Hoping they will open Central for a surprise day, but not getting my hopes up. I'm going out of town on Friday, so the weekend should be awesome if patterns hold up.

I bailed for Stevens which should be solid as long as there's not a surprise closure...

Seems to be a bit of snow has fallen up there. NWAC telemetry says its a full-on reset. Hoping the warmup consolidates the pack and covers holes in preparation for this weekends storm, instead of creating 240v appliance sized debris fields that this weekend's storm barely covers up.

I expect a mound of ruble the size of a train car at the bottom of Nash, marked by a single piece of bamboo.

Snow is weird today, a bit denser than I expected.
From 7-830 lots of graupel coming down.

Will provide an update when I head back out later today.

reminder to current passholders that you have until the 12th to renew before sales are opened to the general public.

Maybe next year they will offer a year round pass for bike park access too. thatd be cool.

Anyone heading up to Central today? The condition description on the website is not particularly inspiring...

It was pretty wet and heavy in the afternoon yesterday. Could be fun, but I would bring a fatter ski to stay on top of the potatoes.

Work does not allow, but that report was indeed not inspirational. Perhaps near the top in the shade...
