Actually, Bodger from the 1963 movie, The Incredible Journey, made quite the impression on me.

Awesome!! We have a little girl named Rosa just down the block, and she loves Chloe and Cooper. She comes racing out to the fence with her little snorts...it's adorable! Cooper has that same collar!

Nice - love their distinctive/ uneven exhaust sound. Always wanted a Ducati Monster when they first came out. Had an FZR600 back in college. As soon as you hit 8000 rpm’s she turned into a Tasmanian Devil. The acceleration/ HP to weight ratio is unreal.
Have not owned a motorbike since. Too many other hobbies now.

Pulled in at Lutsen about 4, snowed all the way up and it's still snowing. Be up here through Saturday if anyone else makes it up.

Granite peak on Saturday was the beat conditions we've skied all year. Looking like that should continue here.

Loving the doggo stoke. My little girl turned 12 last Friday and we snuck out for the afternoon. Yeah, farm birds are kind of lame but it extends the season a few months and she doesn't know the difference. They still taste pretty good too.

I got out for what likely will be the last “Wisconsin Wednesday” at Granite Peak for the year. The recent snow->rain->freezing temps made for some interesting conditions but it is still better than not skiing. Click image for larger version.

There was lots of weird out tonight. One dude was skiing with a nice looking pair of older Mantras… and nordic skate poles. Saw another gent on some 50+ year old skis getting after it. There was even some kid skiing switch on gs skis.

    WTF?

So all my bros deserted me, but Trollhaugen re-opening is just too good to pass up. I bought a pass for next year, so it cost me $285 to ski today but all next season I ski for free.

Stoke was all time high, shitloads of people showed up. I don’t think management was expecting this many rabid skiers coming out of the woodwork.

This wraps up an outstanding season for me. Thank you to any and all who skied with me at some point. Skiing with friends is the whole point of winter. Fuck yeah.

There was no food upstairs, but that snack bar downstairs was open. The bar only had two items, Spotted Cow and bloody marys. Everything else had been put away for the season. That bartender with the silicone boobies was looking fine as usual.

I’m jealous! It was preventative maintenance day at work. It was a change of pace, but it was dirty work. I should not have deserted you!

Ha, she "works" about 25 days a year and sleeps most nights between mom and dad or with the 9 y.o.

At least those weren't put away... Did you offer her 3 dates?

There's an OFF CHANCE that I might be able to sneak away to Troll tomorrow...

    Come for the Immaculate Corduroy
Stay for the deals on 5.56 ammo !

I wonder if my newly-bought Season Pass will get me free gun show admission ?
