FS: Santa Cruz Chameleon Frame - Large
I've been trying to come up w/ a way to build this thing back up as a dirtjumper type thing, but it's not gonna happen. It's a 2003.5, so it has the headtube gussets and the built-in rear disc mount. It's a pretty beefy hardtail, so it's in fine shape. The paint is scuffed up. The worst of the paint damage is 2 scuffs on the top tube from shuttling, and some paint missing on the chainstay near the BB from chain suck. I'm asking $200 for it, plus shipping. I'll throw in the Collar and a Salsa seatpost too.
Here's a pic from last season. I'll get some close-ups of the paint as soon as I can.

must...resist....
anyway, at 6'1" i think it's gonna be too small across the top for me, and I dont' think it'll work best with some kinda 120mm stem on there
someone scoop this up!Let me lock in the system at Warp 2
Push it on into systematic overdrive

This may be a result of the long wheelbase messing with my head, or could be due to the increase in standover over the Chameleon. Not sure what stem you're running, but I'd imagine a large could fit w/ a longish stem. I personally like a short TT, so I might not be the best judge. If it's gonna be a commuter bike, then a large might still be too small.
Why get a full squish as a commuter bike, or am I reading too much into your post?Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Whoops. I just assumed this was the Heckler thread. Helps to read the title...sorry Tap.
I'd say, unless you have some plans to freeride/urban the thing, that you're definitely in the XL range.Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
