Seriously... I'm all for good-natured joking about car washes and summer tires a week before a potential storm, but at some point (a day or two before) it's gotta be ok to talk about plans with other mags and stop being superstitious.

Fair enough - it's been pretty hyped, but at this point it looks like it's going to actually hit pretty good, so... maybe get out and ski?

Yep.. They keep pushing this thing a bit farther south with each run. Like I said all the northern areas are going to get is 2" of fluff that is going to get stripped away by the arctic blast winds.

Magic will still end up being the place to go even though the storm is mostly a bust for most places.

...I'm not really sure where I fall on that line graph. Probably on the curve where I don't worry about buying bread and milk until sometime next week when I actually need to get some. I may keep the snow shovel handy to keep the drifting snow out of the path to the woodshed since I KNOW it is going to be BRUTAL cold and need to keep the fire stoked.

Awesome, it'll be good to see you again. It's not a huge place - I'm sure we will see each other. White jacket/helmet, blue pants, Wren 108's. Listen for hoots and hollers.
