What Would Jeremy Nobis Ski?
Two sides to this question:
1. Always been a huge fan of his skiing, and I wonder what he would be on these days? Things have changed a lot since the Nobis Inspired 88.
2. Pro Riders have been my #1 ski this NZ season, and I truly love them, but I'm just a semi weedy, middle aged surfer who only wishes he could ski like Nobis. What about the proper skiers out there? Pro Riders are gone; Head Monsters are gone. Someone with 5 times my skills and and power would just bend most modern skis in half.
Supergoats? Flex #5 heavy core RX? Oh, and is Nobis still skiing?
Edit: I'm not looking for a new ski. Just been wondering what really strong, fast skiers would be on.

Considering that almost all the shots we remember of Nobis were him straightlining 5,000 feet in 30 seconds on 60 degree Alaska spines in deep powder I would say a Lotus 138 (I'm sure the racer in him would object but from everything I've read there is no better ski for straightlining deep powder in Alaska).... What does Moe ski at that lodge out there?

Head A-star can take some speed and is quite modern design. Can be found cheap also.

Moe skis the Legend 106 188cm and the new Proto. Not sure on Nobis.

I still remember getting the super nobis. The original legend pro with a white top sheet.
Totally changed my skiing for the better. You had to be on it. And when you did, it rewarded you by crushing everything in its path. There are dozens of skis like that these days. Heavy Damp Fat chargers.
Thank you Jeremy!. . .

to ski like that, 195 Stockli 115 pro in a 195 would do, not for mere mortals

NOT nimble until about 60-80kmh. but REALLY stable. I think gwat has them now in his collection/museum

I straight-up remember that cover. That was a big deal.
Kind of hard to imagine what Nobis would ski today, considering his life is so different now.
Heitz is very comparable to a 2018 version of Nobis in his prime. Few approach faces like that anymore.
With Drone Tech nearly replacing the need for expensive heli/photog footage, I hope to see more of this genre finding funding.

K2 sponsored Moe's Tordillo lodge when they first opened, he's back with Dynastar now, and helped with development of the new Legend 106.
