That would be kind of rough, knowing what time of day you're going to die.

I feel like I have had atleast one near death experience... add that to the times I was just plain lucky... I am already operating on borrowed time.

this says most of it. I'll never make 70. Way to many hard miles on this chassis. I've done way to much unintentionally or otherwise in an attempt to destroy it and it's been letting me know for more than a decade.

I worry about cte; my lips and fingers are numb intermittently for periods of time. This small gripe of discomfort is only scratching the surface related to trauma - external or internal.

Yea, 70 may be stretching it

I'll pass later than my antagonists would appreciate, and sooner than my benefactors are comfortable with.

I've already out lived the average age of my Viking blood line ... somehow.

I know my destiny is to grow old painfully ... Tradigicly!

I had a doctor say, at age 24. When I'm 55 I will be walking in pain. When I'm 70 I probably won't be walking at all. Something to look forward to eh.
I'm 44 now and pain is my friend. But us mad farkers that get up everyday and charge hard at work and play will live and survive longer than all these useless farktards around us.
However, having seen ppl in their 90s. Fark that !!!

Yeah Shadam, I'm not sure I want mid 90's. I've seen some pretty vital folks in their 80's though... I can guarantee that they didn't do many of the things we did to our bodies including ingesting a myriad of interesting substances along the way.

hmmmm, I'll take 78. My grad year. What the hell, as good as any number I spose.

Then again any number past right this second is probably good. N + 1.

76.5years. I've always thought of myself as above average.

Seriously though, I wonder about this sometimes. I do lots of healthy stuff and don't smoke...but btwn bikes (I've road crashed and been hit by a car...minor crashes all the time on mtb that seem to take a toll and, in the fall, went over the bars and hit a tree head first) and drinks...I guess they'll cancel each other out???

Mostly though, I don't think about it.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
