TR: Mt. Evans, CO 6-9-05

Went out to ski mt. evans a few weeks ago and I thought I would post a little tr. Got up to summit lake around 6:30 and heading towards the north face.



I skied the coulior that you can see on viewers right, if anyone could give me a name that would be great!

I got to the top of the coulior around 9 and the snow was still quite firm so I decided to wait around up top for the snow to soften up. By 10:30, the temperature was still pretty much the same and I knew that thunderstorms were forcasted for the afternoon, so I decided to head down since colorado weather men aren't that correct. Snow may have been firm most of the way down but it was still a lot of fun and the bowl at the bottom was some real nice corn. The weather seemed to be holding so I quickly made my way up the the north face for one more run down, which was perfect. By 11:30, I was heading a satisfied customer.
