    Best FRESH herb (not medicinal)

    ^^^^^^^^ It's widely known that S and G couldn't cook worth shit.

Tarragon is the answer. And it's medicinal.

    It depends.

If I had to pick one, it'd be rosemary, grown by my loving wife. But I need not pick just one, and I am thankful for that.

No. Herbs are edible leaves of plants. Garlic is the bulb

Catnip, specifically tea made with catnip.

Folks who suffer from migraines and kidney stones use it to help the intense pain.

    Sage
    Oreganos
    basils
    Lavender
    And others

Years ago I planted some mint on a hilly part of the yard that was a pain to mow. It spread quite a bit and when cut the grass I run thru the edge of it making the back yard smell minty fresh.

I read about it online recently, seemed worth a share.

I will also give honorable mention to coriander seed a product of cilantro and common additive in many Belgian beers.

My tarragon went crazy this year. Close to 3ft tall and twice as wide. Love tarragon on chicken.

Mint is a staple. Despite having a pretty huge patch of it I mainly use it in cocktails, maybe the occasional Watermelon salad.

Rosemary, Thyme, Marjoram, and Tarragon are my favorites. Wife likes the Basil, but I think it tastes too metallic.

Sage and Summer Savory have their uses, as does Cilantro.
