FS: 1/4" Toe Shims for G3 Ion, aluminum
SOLD
Made this pair of 1/4-inch / 6.35mm aluminum shims to get my rockered-sole Maestrale RS boots to about the same angle as my Cochise in STH. They work great, made a HUGE difference - no more awful tipped-forward, ass-out body position. And being aluminum, they'll last. Selling because I now have WTR-ish boots that don't need toe shims.
The screw holes are currently drilled for M5 screws, but I can drill them bigger to 5.5mm for ski screws (or 6mm if you have wide-thread screws for telemark bindings). Just let me know if you want the holes enlarged prior to shipment.
** SOLD ** $50 shipped to lower 48. Includes (8) ground-to-length stainless-steel M5 screws to use the shims with Binding Freedom inserts, but you can also use them with long ski screws.
Edit: Just found out B&D sells 1/4" / 6.4mm plastic shims for $39.95 (without screws) plus shipping.Last edited by 1000-oaks; 12-11-2017 at 10:37 PM.

Well shoot, last time I checked with B&D they didn't offer them. I sure burned a lot of time making these....price dropped accordingly. Thanks for the info.

^ B&D would probably make you some? Since I changed from rockered-sole AT boots to WTR-ish Zero G's, I actually had to shim the Vipec heel a bit to match STH alpine ramp.
