Easy ski to turn at slow speeds???

I'm looking for something to screw around on when I'm with my kids. Something that can easily initiate turns with while not having much speed, it would be great if it were Quick in trees and bumps. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

You can look at a short turn radius that most skis list. plus if you go with something with rocker that has a softer flexing tail in a slightly shorter length than you are used to for slarving around and I think you would be happy. Offering up a specific model without knowing you weight, ability and skiing style might put you in the wrong ski.

K2 marksman, or an older K2 shreditor

K2s are noodles, super easy to ski, but they are heavy/damp enough to still ski moderately fast.

I don't usually comment on skis but slow and easy to turn is something I know about. Atomic Automatic 117 (called the Backland now) is easy for this slow old man to turn. Obviously you would want a narrower version for your purposes.

I am looking for the same thing for skiing with my 4 year old. I skied some old 190 atomic helidaddies mounted with Fritschis this winter so I could use my comfy touring boots. The skis sucked though since they have no sidecut

I asked around if any buddies had any slalom skis they wanted to sell. Not sure how a slalom ski does at little kid speed though

I need something that can compete with his 5 meter sidecut atomic skis. He just stands on it and leaves a pencil line wide arc on the slope. I can't be the skidder

I have a blast poppin around groomers slow(ish)on my S7's with my wife (she's blue skier), i go in and out of the trees, switch, pop those little kickers on the side of the slope. sucks on hard pack and ice though. Works for me. I save my Bibby's for the goods.

I ordered a pair of Praxis 9 D's in a flex 3 with enduro core and ambrosia maple verneer that I am hoping will fill this spot in the quiver.

I have an old short pair of K2 public enemies for this..

Got them on here for beer + ship, gave the topsheets a quick coat of spray paint, and they've been chasing my kids around ever since.

Depending on how young / slow the kids are.. forgiving, twin tip, skinny waist, and short radius were my goals for the 3-5 year old crowd.

The old PEs check all these boxes, and the price was right.

    Snowlerblades.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

I actually found that taking the meanest stiffest skis when skiing with beginners is a great way to have fun. I try to stay behind my GF by doing a lot of small hop turns.

Buy stock yeti's. Put a touring binder on there. Now you've got a spring mission ski and a easy ski to turn at slow speeds.

    I recommend 200cm Igneous FFFs.

What you need are the old twin tipped K2 Morrison Pros, 204 cm. Try to get the black chinstrap. Very rare.
