Thread: Earthlink Sux

I have had an Earthlink account since 2001. The service was always top notch and my DSL connection was stellar.
Somewhere along the line, the company went into the tank. I just changed my service due to a move, had random charges show up on my account, and then had to change some of my email accounts around as a result.
The web account maintenance option is broken, so I picked up the phone. Big mistake. If you like going through 10 different menu options before waiting on hold for 15 minutes to finally get connected to an Indian tech who speaks English really well but otherwise doesn't have a clue, then Earthlink is for you. I've now wasted the better part of my evening on hold, and absolutely nothing has been resolved.
I just went over to www.dslreports.com to see if others are having the same problems as me. Yup, big time. This is now the second company I've dealt with that has shipped their customer support to India. In both cases, my results have been terrible."I knew in an instant that the three dollars I had spent on wine would not go to waste."

Earthlink = Scientology.
Expedia.com has shifted their customer service to India as well. I've had extraordinarily good times on the phone with them - which I'm 99% sure is because I was modifying a ticket to India.Elvis has left the building
