A question for the weirdos in the group - 2009 vs 2012 Big Dumps

I got a pair of 2009 Big Dumps for el cheapo on gear swap. Skied them in powder finally and wow, they are a really awesome ski in powder. Very stable and solid, and surprisingly playful. However they really are a plank in hard snow. Looking at some reviews it appears the 2012 Big Dump has more rocker, which I think would improve the skis ability to pivot in tight places and weird snow.

Can anyone confirm? I might have found a pair of the 2012s for super cheap but I don't want to buy them if they're the same as 2009s.

I'm pretty weird, although I can't confirm with certainty. I call bullshit, afaik they are identical. What is your source?

I keep seeing reviews or product listings talk about "updated" freeride rocker or whatever on the 2012. Nothing conclusive though. Perhaps it's just marketing.
