I phone not putting group messages together.

I had to wipe my iphone and reinstall to fix an issues. When i get a group text now, it comes in as the individual person on each text sent. Not as the entire group. Currently using i phone 6 s with latest upgrade on software. I have the setting/messages/group message setting turned on.

I googled the problem with no fix.

    Anyone have any ideas?

A couple of things worth trying:
Are group messages turned on? Maybe a dumb question, but I believe on iPhones it is selectable.
What is your primary "send" address on the phone? If you have an Apple account, you can select whether iMessages are sent from your email or phone number. If it's set to email, it can do all kinds of wonky things to your texting. Can be a bit of a pain in the ass to get back to phone # as well, but plenty of online info about that.

This happens to me as well, particularly when only part of the group has apple devices/imessage.

This just started happening to me too, I have an iPhone 4 though and I don't have any group messaging option in settings. It comes and goes however, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't so i'm a little doubtful that's the problem in my case anyway.

I know I know, I'm looking at switching to an android something-or-other cause iPhone cold weather performance sucks hard. I'll start a thread in lieu of derailing this one.

Out of storage? Did you check to see what you had left before deleting the messages?
