    It's 1984

All I need for time travel was a spare set of bindings. Time to get crazy in the family zone. Some Raichle Flexon re-boots and a pair of The Ski moguls.

There's probably guys here who would buy the Flexons.

Earlier this year I saw a whole family on The Skis, I didn't know they were making them now, that was weird.

    I was like, what's next,

    ?

    Hence the reference to "re-boot"...

Wow, Spademan's, haven't seen those for a while. Guess if they were good enough for Bill Briggs to ski the Grand on...

Time travel? Naahh. That would be a pair of Scott or Hanson boots, Olin Mark IV or K2 710s, Scott thumbreaker poles and old, orange-lensed Uvex goggles with the foam fallen off.

Oh...and Salomon 727 bindings. (Which weren't a bad binding, btw! ...but not as good as Markers )

And the required neon green one piece ski suit with a red bandana wrapped around the right knee and a purple bandana folded into a ring and wrapped around the head of course.

That's a heck of a The Ski collection. Seems you know a thing or 2 about them. I'd love to see a chart of models or something. My black (Black Majic's?) ones were for moguls? I remember loving how very light they were with the foam core. My tip split, a frequent problem I heard. I could see the white foam core, wild. I glued these back together and am looking forward to giving them a spin soon. But I will have to be gentle to them, they are broken.

Ha. I know a guy who skis Alta all the time on spademans. Seems to work for him.

Not sure if that deserves props or a 5150 commitment.

I was just trying to explain spademans to someone the other day and they were incredulous to say the least

Kissing Bridge had Spademans on their rental fleet when I taught there a lifetime ago. What a cluster on wet snow days...or any day really.
