I've been cutting on myself in a dark corner, watching this rain. Even Salmo is above freezing. Actually.....I've been pumping water out of my basement which isn't even as enjoyable as cutting on myself.

Chasing the storm from Spokane 3/11-3/21
They're saying a low of 20 at silver. Fuck I hope so. We need a good freeze to get a decent corn cycle going.
Hate this transition shit. Skiing sucks and the fishing hasn't picked up. Drowning my sorrows and watching the zags. Fuuuuck. At least I haven't resorted to cutting my self, yet.

Stevens skied way better than we expected today! Didn't get there till after the rain but it was worth it for a few hours.

49N today: off-piste was corrugated tank armor after yesterday's rain, last night's freeze;
looks like the cat-tracks ripped up the piste so bad last night they gave up grooming?
sunny skies warmed up eastern and southern aspects after lunch, lots of fun!
is the backcountry any better?

Filmed at Mt. Spokane today...frozen chunder in the morning but softened up nicely by about 11:00. Turned out to be a decent day with some fun corn.
